How to Set Acrobat window to open Maximized

Office 2002, Acrobat 9, Win XP

I am linking to PDFs of drawings from a PowerPoint presentation. 

When I navigate to any of the drawings that are linked to from my presentation, the window that is used to display the document seems to be of arbitrary size. 

I've tried setting the Initial View to "Open in Full Screen mode", but no one seems to like that option. The gang wants to see them large and in a maximized window. Currently, I've got them set to "Fit Page" on initial view. This works pretty well, but if I could get Acrobat to always open Maximized, then it would be perfect. I can't seem to find a setting for that. Instead they open at mixed sizes and I have to click the Maximize button to be able to see any drawing detail onscreen.
