Hello, writers,

I'd like to have a macro that can determine whether Word has made any font substitutions, and if yes, warn the user.

I know how to do this manually (in 2003 it's Tools > Options > Compatibility > Font Substitution; in 2007 it's Word Options > Advanced > Show Content > Font Substitution), but for a new template I'm creating for basic-level Word users, I'd like this to happen as part of the doc opening sequence (which will call a number of other macros).

Simple keystroke recording didn't seem to work because one has to close the resulting dialog box before the keystroke recorder can be stopped, so the effect is that the user can't see what's happening.

Any advice or pointers to code for this?
