My company is open to telecommuting, but we don't tend to mention that in our job postings. I'd suggest looking for jobs that are within driving distance such that you *could* go to the office for a day if you had to, not just the shorter driving distance that would be an acceptable daily commute. Contact them, include your qualifications, and ask whether they're open to telecommuting. Explain your situation (got your own laptop? high-speed internet? willing to come to the office every other week or at need?) and a bit of how you would handle working remotely; cite any experience you have working with remote team members.
Once you have some experience with that sort of telecommuting under your belt, you may be able to take your job search nationwide. Be prepared to talk about how you'll deal with time zones and whether you're willing to fly out (once? occasionally?) for face-to-face meetings.
