Traci,
I recently purchased my domain and hosting package all from GoDaddy.  If you
host with them, they will give you a basic 404 and Under Construction page.
 Depending on the Windows or Linux package you choose, you'll get more free
options with the Linux package, and that is what I went with.

I have found that with GoDaddy you need to create your own breadcrumbs to
remember how to get to certain features: file directory, email manager,
domain manager as all site management aspects are not on one control panel.
 What is nice is that you have a browser based HTML editor (raw and basic)
but nice for on the fly stuff.

You also might want to see if they have specials on domain registration and
email packages too when you speak with your Account Rep.  It'd also be good
of you to speak with someone to show you how to access your site management
points.  I should have done this when I started my site up but I figured
there was no fun in that.

Also, if anyone has a site managed and ftp connected through Dreamweaver,
I'd like to see your settings.  I can't get my ftp hooked up there even
after I looked through the FAQ's.
