If you mean using Eclipse to deliver online help for a non-Eclipse
application, that's not right tool for the job.

You could set up a minimal Eclipse RCP runtime to do nothing but
display your help plug-ins, but the package would be maybe 80-100MB,
and the first time help was invoked there would be an unacceptably
long load time.

This has come up repeatedly on eclipse_tw, you might search the
archive for other opinions:

You should also check out the eclipse.platform.ua (User Assistance) newsgroup.
