Re: pronouns in resumes

In case it wasn't glaringly obvious from their handling of acquisition 
negotiations with Microsoft last year, the per-share value of their stocks has 
apparently not been enough to clue the folks at Yahoo in to the fact that the 
dotcom has been over for some time.

Yahoo's resume advice may be useful advice for people planning to apply for 
positions at Yahoo, but the number of people commenting unhappily about never 
getting responses to resumes sent in and jobs being repeatedly reposted tell me 
that everywhere else, the general fashion trend is right back at the impersonal 
place it was before people started proclaiming that the "new paradigm" of the 
dotcom would forever change the way companies do business.

The old black is the new black.
