Do your engineers have a GUI doc that they follow? (essentially a style guide) If not, I think it
would be in everyone's best interest to work with Engineering to develop one (perhaps you
develop, and they provide input/approval). Otherwise, this "major success" is going to be
terribly inefficient.
Engineers are pretty good at following rules if they have them laid out beforehand :)
