FW: Index for semi-manually-numbered section pages
Subject:FW: Index for semi-manually-numbered section pages From:"Dan Goldstein" <DGoldstein -at- riverainmedical -dot- com> To:<techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com>,"Word-Pc List" <WORD-PC -at- liverpool -dot- ac -dot- uk> Date:Thu, 30 Jul 2009 09:03:11 -0400
OK, now it's working. Turns out that it's the same switch, i.e. \S. The
difference is that with the TOC, I was able to manually add the switch
to an existing field code for the TOC.
For the index, when I manually edited the field code, I got an error.
But when I went to Insert=>Field to create the index, resulting in the
_exact same_ field code, I got the correct numbering with no error.
Gotta love Word.
