Thanks to everyone who replied last week with my Visio drawing to Word
doc problem. With all the help & suggestions, I finally stumbled across
a solution. It ended up - as several people had suggested - being a Word
settings problem rather than the image being too big (size, resolution),
or needing to be a different type (.png), ect.

And, the solution, oddly, was exactly the opposite of the solution
offered in the relevant Microsoft KB article. (Any Seinfeld fans out
there remember the episode where George discovers that in order to get
women, money et al, all he needs to do is the opposite of his normal
first inclination? It was like that, read the KB article, and then do
the opposite.)

The KB article said to make sure the Wrapping style (Right-click
object>Format object>Layout tab) was "in-line with text." However, what
worked for me was using Wrapping style "In front of text," and then
using manual returns to give the image enough room on the page. Save,
and walla!

Thanks again for all the help.

Best, Leisa
