I agree with Sharon - a car is not computer software... no hardship to
replace a printed software guide with a DVD since it'll be used on a
device where DVD or CD players are typically connected. But a car is
self-contained technology. Unless that guide is an audio book that can
play in my stereo, how, exactly, am I supposed to find the information
that explains how to change a flat or replace a fuse or what that light
on the dash means?
I don't have a smartphone, so I can't access web-based guides.
I'd posted a question a few months back asking if the manual was dead...
in this context, I have to say no. The printed manual should be a
requirement.
