Uh, my 80 year old father wants a new car. His computer is an older
model and doesn't have a DVD drive. He isn't connected to the net. And
there are lots of people who don't have cell phones (me included). Lots
of people WITH cell phones do not have data coverage. So when Dad needs
to know how to reset the clock, turn off his lights or reset the oil
life, he'll just call the dealer for a little lesson. (Bet those dealers
would LOVE that!)

Is this a new marketing strategy? Perhaps Chrysler wants to target
young and connected instead of their traditional granny market. Will
the no-manual vehicles come with a sticker that says 'Must have computer
with xxx to purchase'?
