Isn't it amazing to realize that traffic lights have been red, yellow, and green all these years? How do people with color-perception problems distinguish between them? If the lights are vertical, great, the order seems to be consistent. But occasionally you see horizontal lights. (Not so much any more, now that I think of it.) I can't remember offhand whether the red is to the left or to the right on them. What about lights that flash only either red or yellow?
As for shouting out the colors of video games . . . wow . . . . they must gauge your mood carefully before making this particular request!
