Sarah, I do not know that much about market conditions and communication
with the technical communication segment of the market in China and
Shenzhen. However, in the not-too-distant-past, Technical Communication of
STC had an interesting story on this very topic.

I might well be able to help you with my Mandarin Chinese-related expertise.

Also, I am not too busy with my freelance communication business at this
time (I do get the occasional editing, translation, or illustration job),
and, if warranted, your company could engage me for this matter
specifically, for a few months or longer. I do not travel.

Looking for professional-level users of Mandarin who need to improve in
expression, confidence, or pronunciation. Are you an actor or an
entertainer, or are you a State Department Aide? Are you an interpreter who
needs coaching for Mandarin (mild Beijing accent)?

The company for which I work has an office in Shenzen, China. We are looking
to hire some (English-proficient) junior/entry-level technical communicators
to work in our offices over there. They will be supporting the efforts of
our techpubs staff here in the US, mostly doing production
editing/monitoring tasks. Here are a couple of questions for which I am
seeking answers:..
