Can't speak from experience, so others on the list may have specific
recommendations, but FWIW, veteran Word guru Woody Leonhard has an
Office 2007 book and also in that Special Edition series is a title on
using Word 2007:

book on Amazon, I noticed what appears to be extensive discussion of
field codes.

Of course, with Word, a good, comprehensive aftermarket book is not a
