The message as worded causes me to wonder if perhaps the stock opened at 16%
below the $46/share value on that day and crashed down to $15.93 before it
closed. The "start/throughout" wording causes me to think the company will
experience a long series of false starts in lower costs and improved
productivity during the year.

If that's not the case, I'd recommend a rewrite.
