Our definitions are as follows:
<Company> Confidential:
Information labeled “<Company> Confidential” may be
disclosed to regular employees, contractors, and third
parties who have signed a Confidential Disclosure
Agreement (CDA) or other approved agreement that
contains an appropriate confidentiality clause.
Recipients of such information must also have job
responsibilities and duties or business needs that
require them to have access to this information.
<Company> Confidential: Internal Only
This classification is for information that is
confidential to <Company>. In addition, the sensitivity
of the information requires that distribution be
restricted to only regular employees and contractors
as necessary. Besides signing a CDA, these individuals
must have access to the internal network, an employee
badge, a company email account, or all of these company-
related tools. This level of information cannot be shared
with outside third parties, including vendors who have
signed a CDA, are bound by a contractual agreement that
specifically addresses information ownership by the
company, and confidentiality requirements, or both.
Third parties are not part of the internal corporate
community.
