That's very helpful and thank you.
I did all that, except bother Eric. It could have been my spam filter on my
email server and the best/only way to test that was to send a test message.
Which, had Eric replied everything was fine (which it seems he would have,
since it is), would have been the only thing left to test.
If I in fact violated one of the list rules, I'm sorry.

If you think there may be a problem with the list, instead of sending
"test" messages (which I believe violates one of the list rules), check
the archives:
View the current month by date and compare the most recent posts in the
archive with the most recent posts you've received.
If the archive has posts you haven't been getting, check your
subscription settings (your personalized link is at the bottom of every
message from Techwr-l), spam bucket, etc., and if it looks like the
problem isn't on your end, contact the list admin (admin -at- techwr-l -dot- com).
