This seems like a reasonable presumption to me. Carry on.

This vaguely reminds me of some obligatory technical writing topic of
interest to job seekers, in the general area of metrics and mafmathics. From
the Dice Advisor:
"Anyone can claim to be a big league pitcher, with a freaky curve ball and a
blistering fast ball. But to back it up, you need solid numbers in the ERA,
strikeout and home run columns. The same is true for resumes. Including
metrics substantiates your overall premise, and allows reviewers to reach
their own conclusions about your expertise.

This precious philosophical ditty is usually attributed to that giant of
journalism, that wizard of whoopie, Hunter S. Thompson. Hunter wrote in
"Song of the Sausage Creature" that "Being shot out of a cannon will always
be better than being squeezed out of a tube." Hoho. Vigorous writing is
concise. (google the title to find the fuller description of his Ducati
motorcycle fetish)
Whale meet again,
