Hi Guys
I've been using dokuwiki for all our documentation for the past 4 years.
It uses flat files, which means that (in my case where I had 1300+ C++
classes to document) you can just swap files in and out using a file
copy to the wiki directories. It also means you can do tricks like we do;
'clone' part of the wiki to make it public while keeping other parts local
and private by just copying files from one wiki enngine's directories to
another's.
You do need a web server, but there is a version out there that runs
entirely from USB stick. It includes a tiny little webserver that requires
little or no configuration.
Merry Christmas to one and all,
Simon North
