Thanks for the tip, Kevin. I'll see if corporate policy allows me to
install Chrome.
You're description of that long tortuous path to one document has left
me chuckling. I access a SharePoint at work, and it is one of the
slowest file shares I've experienced. It reminds me of Netware for
Macintosh over Localtalk.
I also had the pleasure of using an S1000D CMS-type thing. That also
ran poorly. So part of the problem is our LAN, and worse yet we access
SharePoint through a WAN.
If I was an independent and had to use this to pay the bills, I'd be
out of business. Fortunately, I am but a salaried part in a behemoth
that eats tax dollars faster than they can be printed.
