I have been using NirSoft's freeware called "Search My Files" for a few weeks. It allows you to save searches, it has the ability to exclude folders you do not want to search - a real timesaver if you know that the file you want is not in a folder called "Backup" and - on top of that - it seems to search quickly.

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/search_my_files.html is the website.

I am using Windows Vista.

Hey all.

On your Windows PC, what is your favorite way to find
files containing a given text string?

Why? (Pros/Cons)

Thanks,
