Well, 50% seems a pretty high overhead, but I'd say that I spend at least
33% of my "work time" on unbillable things. But it does go in waves
depending where in the contract/work cycle I am with how many clients. And
periodically there's a big investment of unbillable time to do things like
find a new business lawyer and revamp my contract, develop a new
logo/brochure, clean-up my QuickBooks file for the accountant, and the like.
I'm not sure I see how any of the ofuz tools would help me be more
efficient and lower my unbilled work hours, but I'd like to hear from
others about tools that manage to do that!
