Numbering in MS Word 2003 with SEQ Redux

Hi,

I thought that with help from several people on the list, I had solved
the numbering problem with two levels of numbers using the SEQ field
code. It did work when I edited the document yesterday. Today, I
discover that the autocorrect codes don't work. The numbers still exist,
and when I reveal field codes, the SEQ codes appear in the document.
However, I click Tools > AutoCorrect Options and discover the SEQ fields
are not saved.

Is there some special setting for saving these field codes?
