I don't know of any way to import AutoCAD docs into Visio. That means a
lot of upfront work for you, recreating the floor plans/seating charts
from scratch in Visio, if you can't just update the old AutoCAD versions.
If the company would rather pay for your time to reinvent wheels,
rather than pay for another AutoCAD license, Visio would certainly do
what you need.
