I think your concern is probably justified. But before calling the lawyers, try to track down Lumpy's trademark and marketing guidelines. It's quite likely that marketing has declared somewhere that the product name is "Lumpy Cadeaux," that it should never appear as just "Cadeau," and that it should be followed by one of a specific set of generic nouns (e.g., system, server, solution, ...).
