Done there, been that. It seems awwwful stupid to the tech if he has to
swap, mentally, a front-view reference into the rear-view situation he
sees with the cabinet's back door open.

The additonal problem is that sometimes it's easy to identify the piece
of equipment from the front panel (it's the one labeled ACME Mark4
Sproing-o-lator), but on the back it looks like all the other
sproing-o-lators of which there are 50. It may help for the tech to know
that the Mark4 model has three fans, not two, and that there is a
useless BNC connector (that was designed into the military model but
never removed) next to the supposedly green LED.
