Um... in Flare, you don't select text on a page and
say "Turn this into a table".
Instead, while pasting, you choose among several
paste options one that says "Paste as Table".
I look right past that at least ten times a day,
while pasting text as 'inline' or as 'paragraphs'.
After it's in place, you can modify the properties of
the new table to your heart's content.
Of course, in the Flare Help I was looking for "convert".
In my defense, nobody else mentioned it, and I know there
are some Flare users here.
But they were probably keeping quiet to save me embarrassment.
Can't do it, folks. I'll always find a way.
Anyway, thanks to David Lee over on the Flare forums.
Cheers,
- Kevin
