Hi Katherine,
Thanks for writing. I am considering doing this kind of work, and I have absolutely zilch experience. The biz manager I was discussing it with had me as a contractor on a hardware installation manual and owner's manual, plus I did a little FAQ work and assembly spec sheets. So he is familiar with my writing, and my dependability. He's jammed on proposals. But I wouldn't want to commit to something that I can't do as well as I did the other. And my real speciality is software user docs. But then, in the course of 25 years...
