Thanks everyone for kindly repeating the info from our recent thread!

So I already have SnagIt 8.2.0 on my PC. But maddeningly I can't figure
out how to use it on the stick! (Well, full disclosure here -- I haven't
tried yet.) But nowhere in the Help or online at techsmith.com does it
seem to say how to do this. And when I google "snagit 8 portable", I get
quite a few hits, but none from TechSmith (except for people complaining
that it's not available).

So what's the deal? Are these other downloads for real? And why would I
want to use a 3rd-party, maybe not legal, version when I've already
purchased the real product?

TIA,
-Monique
