Not far from the mark here, Rick. The plan is to offer members a
discount on certification, and I believe (IIRC from this past STC
Summit) the discount would at least be the cost of membership or
something along those lines. While not exactly achieving all that your
idea does, it really makes it a no-brainer for those interested in
certification who aren't already members.

There may be no such thing as a free lunch, but I like the idea of
free side dishes. :)
