I don't think I've said anything about not commenting - now would be the time. But predicting an end to life as we know it, the profession as we know it, and well, everything else is a little premature. Ambitious, one might even say.

Then it makes more sense to comment on things now, before they are set
in stone, yes? Of course, some comments are easier to put to
constructive use than others.

One aspect of this process that interests me is the external (i.e.
outside STC) sources of expertise, stories, lessons, etc. that the
certification committee makes use of. Richard Hamilton blogged about
FAA certification here, and I think it's worth a read to anyone else
