The only time I haven't charged for a project like this is when the author
was an 89-year-old friend with limited resources. In this case, I think that
a dollar per page might be appropriate. It IS going to consume some of your
time and—for certain—you'll end up agreeing to more than one pass at it as
they decide upon revisions (ad nauseum). Even at $200, you're doing a HUGE
favor (assuming you're a good editor, of course).
