I just went through this last Summer and after using RoboHelp in the past, and getting some amazing feedback on this list, I chose FLARE! I am really liking it a lot! The learning curve has not been bad at all and the support from Madcaps is so much better than from Adobe. They are very similar... but I think that from my experience with both Flare and RoboHelp ..Flare is easier to grasp and the process makes a lot more sense to me! I am still a novice at Flare and was never more than a novice with RoboHelp..but I am sure some of the more experienced users on this list will be able to offer a better opinion!
