Monique--

Yes, according to the article I read, all Outlook data is preserved in
the new Mac version.

If the Earthlink mail is in a straight Access database, there are
converters around that will convert it to other database formats. For
instance, the Bullzip people make one you can download at
http://www.bullzip.com/products/a2m/info.php

That one converts Access database files to MySQL files. Since MySQL is
a free database manager, the result may be that you can go that route
to get what you want. I'd think it's worth a try before buying Access,
if you don't own a version of Office already which includes it. From
the sound of things, too, Earthlink probably uses an older Access
engine as it sounds like they haven't updated their product in a long
while.

It sounds like I was fortunate in getting rid of Earthlink some years ago.

These days, I use webmail exclusively. However, I am thinking about
importing my gmail traffic into a mail client on my machine--probably
using Thunderbird, I think. That would give me a bit of extra
flexibility.
