Hotels are really good at that... Having helped run programming
for several world science fiction conventions, I have rescued
more than one inexperienced programmer by correcting
Patrick and/or Teresa's surname before they saw their
schedule or nameplate :->

Back to punctuation, her essay "On Copyediting" in _Making
Book_ provides nice insight into publishing house copyediting.
(The book also contains her hilarious essay "God and I" about
being excommunicated from the Mormon church in the 70s.)
