We provide solutions encompassing information security. The Ottawa off
ice
develops SafeNet's Luna and Protect HSM product lines (hardware securi
ty
modules).
Customers configure, administer, use, integrate, and develop applicati
ons
for our HSMs, and it is the technical writer's job to document all tho
se functions.
You will take on some of that documentation load.
You are experienced, and self-starting, and you play well with others
- all
the usual. You reside in the Ottawa area, because our office is where
the
equipment and all the developers, testers and other resources are avai
lable.
Sorry, no remote-working from other cities or countries.
Documents include WebHelp, as well as separate Programmer Reference,
User Guide, Setup and Administration Guide, Quick Start Guide, etc. to
be published as PDF files. Current tools include MS Word or
OpenOffice/LibreOffice, and Madcap Flare. We've used Visio,
Illustrator, Photoshop and/or GIMP to create and modify illustrations
and graphics.
Experience with the named tools is an asset, but not mandatory. A good
techwriter is flexible and can quickly transfer skills to new tools.
Substantiate your experience with portfolio and references - due to th

nature of our business, we must check. An existing security clearance
is an asset, but not a requirement.
