I think, I kinda thought or rather assumed, it should go without saying that one should specify what kind of jack is being used. Rarely, do documents state, "Insert the connector into the jack," without specifying "wall jack," "phone jack," "network jack," "that guy down the hall, Jack," etc.

FYI, if you want to buy one, you may want to call it a "power jack."
