Chris Morton asked "What Is Clinical Writing?"
"I presently write for a company that creates medical devices and know a
considerable amount about prostate cancer, product trials and such. Can
someone please tell me how much this differs from "clinical writing"?"

Chris:
I suspect it is the medical writing recorded on the patient's case file, vs.
how the case would be written up in a medical journal case study.
Personally, I think that a technical writer with a lot of medical knowledge,
like yourself, or myself, who worked for a hospital consulting firm for
several years, could take a stack of selected medical records and
competently write or edit an appropriate case study. (Even if no one in the
medical writing field would think so. --So why am I getting announcements
about the AMWA Convention?)
