Don't get me started on recruiters.

20 years ago, many were people from the industry, who knew what it was all about. They could smell a con and figure out if you were real or not. They also knew what was important or not.

Today, most are just sales guys, out to sell a body to a customer, with no idea of real/fake, value/valueless, important, unimportant. So in an age of high tech that should sniff out the fakes and the poor performers in a nanosecond, we now have an environment where they can frequently thrive as well as in the days of little information flow.

It will, if a recruiter is using electronic screening, and any cv that doesn't include "STC certification" is filtered out as a possible candidate.
