Subject:Publish to FTP in Robohelp 9 doesn't work. From:Gregory P Sweet <gps03 -at- health -dot- state -dot- ny -dot- us> To:techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com Date:Wed, 2 Nov 2011 10:01:19 -0400
All,
I've searched and posted regarding this issue within Adobe Forums (see: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3993916#3993916) but am curious if anyone
here has found a solution to RH9's FTP issues.
In short RH9 seems entirely incapable of escaping the export/home/user
directory when FTPing to a unix server. If you configure the options so the
URL for FTP looks correct,
It fails, publishing to ftp:/dev.health.state.ny.us/export/home/user
/hpnpages...
I posted regarding this in the Adobe Forums and was told to put the full
URL path in the options for FTP and, for one day, it worked and the files
published to the correct directory. Though the ftp settings looked entirely
wrong: ftp://dev.health.state.ny.us/dev.health.state.ny.us/hpnpages...
On Friday, without making any changes to the FTP options, I tried to
publish an update to the help file and found the files FTP's to
Anyone else experience this and found a way to get it to work?
Thanks,
-Greg
