Well, that's the odd part. This survey about "the connection between
Technical Communication in education and in the workplace" is intended
_only_ for tech writers with degrees, regardless of where they work. So
the survey specifically excludes having a college degree as a possible
difference between tech writing in education and in the workplace. Huh.
