Document Properties Greyed Out in Acrobat Pro

Arrgh!
 
I have successfully set the initial view for PDFs multiple times using this same instance of Acrobat Pro. Why now are all the settings greyed out?
 
I'm using Acrobat Pro 10 with FrameMaker 10 in Windows 7.
 
What am I suddenly missing!
