At my work, we have far too many current version of my user guides floating around. We use "Most current" to mean the latest and greatest.

Is the "most" in "most current version" redundant? Why not say, "current version"? Please forgive me if I appear to be acting like a pedantic ass. That isn't my intention. I really do not see a semantic difference between the two phrases. Is there a subtle difference that I am missing?

Hi All:

What are the most current versions of Microsoft Manual of Style and the Chicago Manual of Style?

Thanks
