We (docs) provide them (training) editing and formatting services, then we take the examples they develop and add them to the next version of the manual. We also prepare some specific aggregated material (from our stuff). Offered them video production, but they had no time to work on a script. They invite me to training events to talk about docs and other tools we provide.
In my previous job, docs and training were separate entities with no connection between them, and in the job beforehand, the trainers would take our materials and use it for their presentations.
