How about, "I will enable you to go to the restroom after I finish my lecture"?

I see nothing wrong with the sentence, "A good education will allow you to achieve your highest potential."

"Enable" arguably connotes empowerment. For example, "A good education will enable you to achieve your highest potential." "Allow" arguably connotes granting permission. For example, "I will allow you to go to the restroom after I finish my lecture."
