Hi Kevin

SharePoint is typically a server, no? In that case, it's standard and common practice for CHMs to fail when opened on a network location (which SharePoint would be).

So you see the TOC (if using a TOC) but nothing appears in the Topic panel when nodes are selected by the user. Until, of course, you move the CHM locally and often have to open properties and click the "Unblock" button.

Cheers... Rick :)

With one client that I had, we created a RoboHelp CHM file and then
uploaded
the file to SharePoint. Once in SharePoint, the CHM file had to be
downloaded to the user's PC for all the links to work.

Do we suppose that is a feature of the RoboHelp CHM at work,
or a feature of SharePoint?

If all links are relative, what is the salient difference
between the two environments - inside SharePoint versus
on local HD - that breaks links within a CHM? Presumably,
they both live on a hard disk somewhere, so...?
