Heathkit made great stereo equipment. I had a Heathkit stereo and it lasted
more than 10 years. I gave it to my brother when I went to Japan during my
Navy years.

Here is a set of photos of an old Heathkit assembly manual from the 1950s
(or possibly the 1960s). Interesting to see how they did it back when a tech
writer was a tech writer. Heathkit was a hobbyist company that made kits for
assembling various electronic equipment. This one is for an vacuum tube AC
voltmeter.
