I had a notice that Adobe Acrobat 10.1.3 was available and when I tried to
update, I had an error message about permissions. While I was on the website
to investigate, I was prompted to chat with a representative.

My experience from just a couple of hours ago was good. The rep was as
helpful as possible. I asked about the Word 2010 and Acrobat 9 compatibility
and was directed to this website:
http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/known-issues-acrobat-9-pdfmaker.htm
l, if that helps anyone.

I also found out the rep attended the Metallica concert in Bangalore on
10/30/11
[http://www.livemetallica.com/live-music/0,396/Metallica-mp3-flac-download-1
0-30-2011-Bangalore-Palace-Ground---Main-Palace-Bangalore-IND.html] so that
was a cool bonus!

I thought the blog post was mildly refreshing, although it could be mistaken
for a parody or another bit of fun, and NOT an official announcement.

I notice that somebody quickly pointed out the occurrences of "would of"
(one of my many pet peeves). Saved me the trouble. :-)

More disturbing was this:

>The documentation says that from the Welcome Screen there is a modify
package option. That option is not there on the Mac.

>Hi Mik,
Modify package option specified in AAMEE Deployment Guide is for AAMEE 2.1
workflow and not for AAMEE 3.0 workflow.
> Deployment guide posted on web is combined document and contains separate
chapters for AAMEE 2.1 and AAMEE 3.0. Please refer to AAMEE 3.0 chapters for
feature information of current version.

My beef here is that Adobe let out a combined document when (as Jody pointed
out several times), the two AAMEE versions are different, address different
CS versions, and cannot co-exist.
