Holly Deitelhoff wants a word to replace "maintenance" in descriptions of
".. maintenance items on a fiber placement machine which are specific operator functions. I am having a hard time coming up
with a section title - the Chapter is called Preventative Maintenance, but
I can not use words like "housekeeping", "maintenance", or "preventative
maintenance" as the list heading where these operator specific functions
are listed, as there are general housekeeping staff and maintenance
personnel that also work the machine. The word/words I am looking for need
to be specific to the operator and intuitive enough to indicate that it is
strictly a list they are responsible forâ"

Holly:
I think that if you include an introductory sentence/paragraph that states that the operators are responsible for keeping the machine ready for production at all times (vs. the "housekeeping" and "maintenance" duties of the general housekeeping staff and maintenance personnel that keep the Machine's work area clean or whatever), you could label the section listing the operator duties something like, "Operator Machine Readiness Responsibilities".
