My company currently prints its documentation using PDFs and Word files.
For the next major delivery they would like to deliver the documentation as
e-books, which will be read on tablets.

We have currently not decided which tablet we are going to use.

I have been tasked with finding out the advantages and disadvantages of the
different tablets and e-reader applications.
I am aware that their are different types of e-books, such as ePubs, PDF
e-books, etc. My managers don't really care what type is produced or what
table it is delivered on so long as the customer can easily read the
document and find whatever information he needs.

Also, I need to discover which tool is the easiest to use for converting
Word or PDFs into e-books, with an emphasis on cost, and user friendliness.

I am also using Google, and have also searched the archives of this mailing
list, but I would also like to consult group members. I know that some
recent versions of tools now support e-publishing, such as Flare 8, and
would like to hear from the list there thoughts on the subject.
